MORGAN EVERHART

What brings me closer to bliss is perseverance and celebration through the harder parts of life. Some people may see life’s challenges as existing in opposition to happiness. I see them as an opportunity to gain strength and perspective. Painting florals has been the most fruitful way for me to explore the complexities of reality and of bliss, as the subject holds endless symbolism. I also find bliss in the following recipe: adventure, humor, and a little mischief with great friends. I recently felt the emotion intensely while seeing so many of my loved ones at the Getting Here Celebration, which took place around my mural off of Grand and Suffolk Streets and benefitted local organizations dear to my heart. There was so much art, laughter, and love in one spot!
